H-O - 2006 HO 71'' Magnum with Double Wiley Bindings
The dimensions of the Comp Freerides obviously make them easier to ski on but what may not be so apparent is the performance inherent in their design. We’ve found a bevel design that works incredibly well on our high-end skis and have adapted that to work on our wider skis as well. The round bevel in the back 1/3 of the ski graduates to a crisp 45 degrees on the front 2/3’s. This initiates the turn easily, sets a secure edge, then accelerates away in a heartbeat. This bevel design also creates straight-line tracking which means if you want to relax and ride the ski alongside the wake without being on edge you can - comfortably. Unique to this series is the Power V bottom which runs from the tip of the ski to the heel of the back foot. This gives the ski more purchase with the water in a hard turn or rough water and also creates lift for tracking and easier deep water starts. The inside radius at the tail coupled with the turned down rail in that section tightens the turning radius of these all-water cruisers for performance you’ll have to ski to believe. If you want to slow down your boat speed and make skiing easier on the body and a kick in the pants at the same time there’s a Comp Freeride down at the pro shop calling your name. Are you listening? Comp Freeride Features: Aluminum alloy top – Strength, durability and dampening in rough water. Inside radius at the tail – Tighter turning radius. Carbon reinforcement – Increased acceleration. Power V Bottom – Stability, edge hold and lift. Wider overall dimensions – Let’s make it easy on ourselves!
