Instead, there is a small metal plate directly under the footbed that mounts to the ski. This gives you superior control and a super clean aesthetic look. One bungee lace over the forefoot and one bungee around the ankle keep your feet secure, while still allowing you to release in the case of a crash. The freeMAX is a great binding if you are looking for something that is really comfortable and really easy to get in and out of. The freeMAX is one of the softest boots in the line which makes it ideal for skiing on the open water and at slower speeds. Have friends that want to use your ski?
