Our Open Water Series has three goals in mind: 1 - Quickly and easily plane to the surface. 2 - Very low drag. You can’t make it to the far end of the lake, or the length of the river if you run out of steam. 3 - It needs to still rip lake a slalom ski should. At Radar, we only design slalom skis that act like slalom skis. With the Open Water Series we took the mission to heart, adding more surface area than any other series in our line, cracking the traditional design code in the process. With the addition of Grip Rails and a flat spine, you have a ski that easily finds and maintains an edge despite its increased width. The barrier to entry into the slalom world just got lowered. Let it rip.
Lyric Boa
The Lyric BOA has quickly become the gold standard in female-specific waterski footwear. Constructed around our gender specific aluminum last, the Lyric features a narrower ankle pocket and slightly wider top cuff to accommodate the lower calf muscle of the women who ride it. Following the ethos of our Lyric boot construction, the Lyric BOA ARTP is uniquely designed to fit the specific contours of a female slalom skier's foot. Couple in the performance of Carbitex and the function of our BOA closure system and you are left with this next-level slalom kicker design.
