Cory Teunissen joined Team H/L in 2021 and immediately made an impact, his pro model for 2027 is looking sick, the Capitol Loaded. This super light board features Hyperlite’s new Loaded Construction for enhanced performance featuring our PVC 100 Core, 12K Carbon Stringers, and 3mm rods running tip to tail. The Blended 3-Stage Rocker sets the tone for the ride delivering a huge pop off the wake which Cory prefers. The Capitol Loaded incorporates a Dual Concave Base through the belly, a Butch feature, keeping the board speedy on edge and smooth while carving.

Blended Rocker

A blended rocker combines elements of continuous and three-stage designs—a firm flat section through the middle with smoother curves at the tips. Aggressive edging produces 3-stage-like pop, while a flatter approach yields the speed and smooth lift of a continuous board.

CONSTRUCTION FEATURES:

12K Carbon Stringer – Top & Base

High-modulus 12K carbon stringers run along the top and base laminates to add stiffness and explosive energy return. Carbon placement targets the board's longitudinal flex for snappy pop without a heavy feel. This is a key ingredient in Hyperlite's Loaded construction recipe.

Lightweight PVC 100 Core

The PVC 100 core is an ultra-light foam formulation that dramatically reduces board weight. It pairs with carbon reinforcement to maintain structure despite the minimal core mass. The result is one of the lightest, most responsive feelings in the Hyperlite line.

2 x 3mm Solid Fiberglass Rods

Solid fiberglass rods embedded in the core add targeted stiffness and torsional control. At 3mm thick, they provide reinforcement without the weight penalty of heavier stringer packages. These rods help the board hold its line at speed and off the wake.

Layered Glass

Multiple layers of fiberglass are orientated and laminated to fine-tune flex, pop, and torsional response. Each layer is placed strategically to reinforce high-stress zones without adding excess weight. Layered Glass gives riders predictable performance from edge to edge.

Monocoque Construction

Monocoque Construction integrates the board's top and bottom laminates into a unified shell for added stiffness and durability. This approach helps distribute impact forces across the entire board rather than isolated zones. The result is a more consistent flex pattern and improved longevity.

M6 Inserts

Industry-standard M6 binding hardware inserts provide a secure, compatible connection between your wakeboard and boot. Boards with M6 inserts work with virtually all major wakeboard binding brands on the market. This universal mounting standard delivers reliable performance season after season.

NEW Loaded Construction

Loaded Construction is Hyperlite's premium lightweight build engineered for maximum response and reduced swing weight. Advanced materials and layup techniques strip weight while amplifying pop off the wake. It's the platform behind the Loaded series boards for elite-level performance.

Sharp Exit Channels Tip & Tail

Sharp exit channels at tip and tail promote a clean, speedy release off the wake. Water sheds efficiently at takeoff for a snappier pop. The channels help the board leave the water cleanly when you need maximum air.

Minimum Swing Weight Profile

The board profile is shaped to minimize rotational mass in the air for faster spins and inverts. Weight is trimmed from non-essential areas while preserving strength through the centerline. Riders notice quicker handle passes and a more agile feel on rotations.

Dual Concave Base in Belly

Dual concave through the belly channels water for speed and a smooth carve into the wake. The feature keeps the board lively on edge without feeling sticky. It's a signature shape detail for maintaining flow and control through turns.

Sized UP Philosophy

Hyperlite's Sized UP Philosophy scales each board length to the rider's size for appropriate surface area and swing weight. Larger riders get proportionally larger boards rather than forcing everyone onto the same template. The approach optimizes float, control, and pop across the size range.
