Jimmy worked with Matty to make his signature board, a more refined version of the Illusion. Packed with a new, elongated Just the Tip tech zone for locked-in presses that rolls into a new rocker profile, the board also features a toned-down lifted rail for a less grippy feel on the surface. Matty’s unique riding demands a board that stays reactive through every press without slipping when he pushes the limits. By removing material from the tip and tail of the boards core we reduce weight and improve response. On the water that means free, easy spins thanks to the reduced swing weight and cleaner, higher ollies thanks to the weight saving. Using profiled paulownia wood from tip to tail for trusted stability and strength. All LF profiled cores are designed to give a solid feel between the feet and flexing on the tip and tail. As the core profiles towards the tip and tail the profile thins out to create more flex.
